India and Bangladesh today discussed issues of mutual interest with the aim of advancing people-to-people cooperation. The discussions took place during a meeting between India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, and Adviser to Bangladesh’s Prime Minister for the Ministry of Finance and Planning, Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, in Dhaka. In a social media post, India’s High Commission in Bangladesh gave this information. Earlier on 25th August, Mr. Trivedi met Bangladesh’s Minister of Commerce, Industries, Textiles and Jute Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, where the two sides discussed various aspects of bilateral economic and commercial cooperation and explored ways to deepen ties between the two countries.
