US President Donald Trump has said that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened and that the United States will not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon. In an interview with a television channel, Mr Trump defended America’s actions amid the West Asia crisis, saying he is going to do what’s right. The US President also criticised Iran over ongoing negotiations with the United States, alleging that agreements with Tehran are not consistently honoured. Mr Trump said that every time Iran makes a deal, it later acts as if the conversation never happened. He reiterated that Iran must not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.
