Russian attacks across Ukraine have killed at least four people today as Moscow and Kyiv intensify their aerial warfare.
Russia has attacked Ukraine with cruise and ballistic missiles, powerful glide bombs and jet-powered drones while front-line progress has largely slowed. Russia’s Ministry of Defence said that its attack on Kyiv had damaged a data centre that supported both cellphone internet services and Starlink satellite communication systems.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today warned it’s partners that Russia is escalating every single day. He said that if Moscow had chosen to make its strikes more brutal, the international community must respond with stronger measures to prevent the war from spreading further.
Earlier this week, Zelenskyy urged countries at the UN to further restrict Russia’s access to revenue through sanctions and trade bans, arguing that cutting Moscow’s income would limit its ability to sustain the war.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has continued its long-range drone campaign against targets inside Russia, including oil refineries and industrial facilities.
