Germany–Israel Deal Aims to Strengthen Cyber Defence with ‘Cyberdome

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed an agreement on joint security work, which includes the creation of a German “dome” to repel cyberattacks, the Handelsblatt newspaper reported.

 

The newspaper clarifies that the agreement was signed following the German minister’s two-day visit to Israel.

 

The publication clarified that the system would automatically detect and repel cyberattacks and drone attacks. The agreement provides for close integration of German and Israeli cybersecurity capabilities.
