In Shooting, the Indian team will be attending its final training camp ahead of the Asian Games 2026 starting later this month in Japan. The camp begins at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy in Bhopal today.
A total of 18 shooters, including nine men and nine women, will be taking part in the camp. The squad includes top shooters such as Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar.
Expert coaches will be training the shooters in rifle and pistol events. The camp will be focusing on shooting skills, fitness, recovery, and mental strength. The shooters will also be training at modern 10, 25, and 50-metre ranges.
A special training camp was held in Bhopal last month as well. The Indian shooting team will leave for the Asian Games after the camp concludes on 14th September.
