The Afghan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a leading aid agency to assist thousands of displaced families, the ministry said in a statement
The aid exceeds 857,000 U.S. dollars and will benefit 5,148 displaced families, the statement said.
The agency will provide educational facilities, distribute equipment and provide job opportunities to the families.
The Afghan interim government has called on local and international organizations to invest in the country to address its economic hardship and create jobs.
