Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal today urged investors to take advantage of the investment opportunities and the high-quality talent and skills that India has to offer.
Addressing the Invest Kerala Global Summit in Kochi today, Piyush Goyal said India’s GDP of 4 trillion US dollars, which is poised to grow to a 35 trillion dollar economy within the next few years, offers an unmatched opportunity for growth, development and other economic activities.
He noted that the entire country is working in the spirit of cooperative federalism and collaboration to attract investments.
Earlier, inaugurating the event, Kerala Chief Minister Pinararyi Vijayan assured that the state government will not leave any stone unturned to make Kerala an attractive investment destination. Noting that the changes brought about by the state government to achieve this are not incremental but substantial, the Chief Minister said the government has taken a holistic view and is paying equal attention to all matters from policy formulation to last-mile implementation.
Investors from both India and abroad, diplomats and other business leaders are participating in the two-day event.
