In Bihar, the three Armed Forces are holding Shaurya Vednam Utsav at Motihari in East Champaran district from today. The two-day function was organised under the campaign “Know Your Army” at Gandhi Maidan, Motihari. Bihar governor Arif Mohammed Khan will inaugurate the event this morning. The event has been organised in a bordering area which is near to Indo-Nepal frontier, to instill a patriotic feeling in people, especially among youths. The event is open to the public with free entry, providing a unique opportunity to engage with and learn about the lives of the soldiers who protect the country. Visitors to the event will be able to view a variety of army equipment and enjoy thrilling displays including Sukhoi fighter planes, T-90 tanks, Bofors gun, fly-past, drone show, dogs show, martial arts, motorcycle daredevil stunts, newly included Robotic mule of Armed Forces. People will be also able to catch a glimpse of the Army’s capabilities during the war and their disaster response capabilities. Colourful cultural programmes like Chhau, Bhangra and others will also be presented during the event. Shaurya Vednam Utsav will feature informative and interactive stalls which will offer medical help, details of recruitment opportunities and an army placement help desk for army veterans.
