The Embassy of Nepal, led by Nepal’s Ambassador to India, Surendra Thapa, along with Taranath Adhikari, Minister, signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Andhra Pradesh Tourism.
Representing Andhra Pradesh were Nukasani Balaji, Chairman of APTDC, and K. Vijay Mohan, President of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Forum and the Tours and Travels Association. This marks the first-ever MoU signed by the Nepal government with any Indian state.
The agreement is aimed at fostering stronger tourism ties between Nepal and Andhra Pradesh.
Its primary goals include promoting and developing tourism between the two regions, enhancing cooperation and collaboration, and sharing expertise, resources, and knowledge.
By doing so, both parties hope to enrich the travel and tourism experience for visitors to both destinations.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Mohan highlighted the broader vision of the partnership, emphasising that it would not only strengthen tourism but also create opportunities for cultural exchanges and mutual growth.
This MoU represents a major step forward in the relationship between Nepal and Andhra Pradesh, setting the stage for increased collaboration in travel, tourism, and hospitality.
It reflects a shared commitment to building strong connections, offering visitors unique experiences, and leveraging the rich cultural and natural resources of both regions.
