For over two years, Russia and Ukraine have been locked in a deadly conflict. During this period, the Russian military launched numerous attacks on Ukraine using various lethal weapons, culminating in widespread destruction. Recently, Russia demonstrated the MIRV (Multiple Independently Re-entry Vehicle) missile technology used in Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM), redefining the nature of warfare.
Vladamir Putin also launched an ICBM equipped with MIRV technology on Ukraine. This missile is said to be unstoppable by any anti-ballistic missile defense system.
This attack by Russia has also revealed that power of India’s Agni-5. Considered to be one of the most lethal and dangerous weapons, the Agni-5 missile can create havoc on enemies in just 10 seconds.
How special is the MIRV missile technology?
Vladimir Putin can now redefine the concept of warfare by using the MIRV missile technology. This technology is unique because it designs a ballistic missile in such a way that, upon nearing its target, the missile splits into multiple warheads, each capable of independently destroying separate targets.
India’s Agni-5 and Agni Prime Equipped with This Technology
It is important to note that India has already missiles that are equipped with MIRV (Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicle) technology. The Agni-5 and Agni Prime missiles have been armed with this powerful technology.
The striking range of Agni-5 is over 5,000 kilometers. In a single attack, the Agni-5 can destroy 10 to 14 targets. By successfully testing the Agni-5 missile, India has demonstrated its capability not only to respond to its adversaries but also to defend against and retaliate against any attacks effectively.
