In Pakistan, the death toll in the Gul Plaza shopping mall fire in Karachi climbed to 14 after the rescuers found eight more bodies at the site. The search for over 70 missing people is still underway. Rescue officials said teams also recovered mortal remains of three people, including a child, during the operation, following which they were shifted to the Civil Hospital. Rescue officials said efforts were continuing to remove debris and fully extinguish the fire. People have slammed the Sindh government and the Karachi Mayor for the delay in the action.
